The one Omani individual on six years of the FBCG Next Generation list
The Family Business Council Gulf's 2025 Next Generation entry names Ali Adnan Haider Darwish Al-Zaabi. The only other Omani names in six years of lists are companies.
Ali Adnan Haider Darwish Al-Zaabi — who runs a printing and design house in Muscat — appears on the 2025 Next Generation list published by the Family Business Council Gulf, an entry made under his full name.
He is, on the published record, the only Omani individual on it. Six years of the council's lists contain two other Omani names — Saud Bahwan Group in 2022 and WJ Towell Group in 2023 — and both are companies, not people.
The Family Business Council Gulf is the regional body for family-owned firms across the GCC states. Its annual lists run on fbcgawards.com, sorted by year and category.
A reader checking the entry should know the site is built as a single page: it opens on the current 2026 list, and the year control above the winners section is what moves it back to 2025. The name sits between the preceding and following winners on that view. It also sits in the page's script file, searchable directly.
